Questions People Ask

Before You Commission

How long does a bespoke piece take?

Around forty hours of embroidery, scheduled against work already in progress. In practice that means several weeks. Rush jobs are declined rather than rushed — the technique does not compress.

Can I choose the colours and stone?

Yes. Ground velvet, thread colours, pattern density and the centre stone can all be specified. Onyx, lapis lazuli, quartz, aventurine and serpentine are all in regular use.

Do you take wedding parties?

Yes, and they are best started early. Matching a set means holding thread and velvet from the same batch, so lead time matters more than usual.

How do I care for metal-thread embroidery?

Keep it dry, store it flat and away from direct light, and never press it directly. Each piece ships with care instructions, and repairs are handled in-house.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes — orders through the store ship worldwide. For bespoke commissions, shipping is arranged directly once the piece is finished.
